I’m not a writer
I’m not a blogger either.
It’s this tweet that solidified it for me:
The more I blog, the more I realize I’m not a writer, I’m a blogger. I think too many bloggers have delusions of grandeur.

I have nothing original to say. I don’t know that I should. For me, it’s impossible to write anything here and it not be about me.
I don’t want to write about me. I don’t want to talk about me.
I’m at a stage where the most important thing is to point vertically. I’m not sure I can even make that happen on a blog. That’s why, for now, it’s best to retire this site.
I’ll keep the domain, mainly because my Twitter handle, Facebook URL and other things use shawnw. I’ll probably end up pointing it at about.me or something similar. Who knows. I’m not too worried about it at this point.
I also appreciate Jeff Goins’ book You Are a Writer because it proved to me that I’m not. At least, not right now. I haven’t the discipline or the drive to make it happen.
So, I guess that’s it. Keep up with me on Twitter or Google+ (I don’t use Facebook much) or add me on Xbox Live.
Later.
